Gentlemen,
along with many in this country, I have been watching the unfolding, shocking tragedy in and near Oslo over recent days.
The death of so many young people, in particular, is particularly poignant, and we have all been greatly impressed by the restraint and quiet dignity of Norway, led by HM King Harald v and Queen Sonja.
Mindful of our long ties of allegiance and friendship, from the dark days of WW II, to our links through CIOR, I would like, on behalf of the Organising Committee of the Edinburgh NATO Shoot and your many comrades and friends in UK Reserve Forces Association Scotland to express our sincere sympathies and strong support at this most difficult time to you, your comrades, families and communities.
